What you choose to do with your limited time depends on your priorities.
Many people claim that they don’t have time to exercise, or whatever difficult task it may be, yet they have time to watch hours of their favourite TV show that same day. This is because they prioritise watching the show, rather than exercising. I am also guilty of such behaviours, but I have become aware of them recently. Ever since I started working on my plant business, I have noticed that I have replaced the time I would spend watching a show with completing tasks required to earn money from my plant business such as watering plants, taking pictures of the plants and potting them.
I realised that I feel much more productive when I chose to spend my time on tasks that I could profit from further down the line. Furthermore, it doesn’t only apply to money. I’ve picked up on calligraphy as a hobby and have found it to be very relaxing accompanied with music. It is a creative hobby that I enjoy but also can potentially gain from in the future.
Ultimately, I am trying to spend my time on activities and tasks I can benefit from. I have by no means completely cut off watching entertaining media, however, I am working towards spending less time on it.
