One goal I made this year was to exercise regularly, and I am proud to say that I have maintained this goal so far. I have by no means become a fitness guru or anything, but still, I have started to make a small change in my life to become a healthier version of myself.
This is not my first attempt to exercise regularly, however, it is my first success. My morning exercises have finally become a habit; it allows me to have a productive start to my day, hence if I don’t do it, I feel sluggish and somewhat guilty.
It definitely was not fun in the beginning, it never is, and even now, I still have those days where it feels like an eternity to get through my exercise routine. Only recently did I start to look forward to exercising, and I believe that it because I adjusted my exercise routine to make it more enjoyable for me. I am glad I did because if I kept pursuing a routine that I didn’t like or suit me, I would have given up sooner or later.
What this has taught me is that I shouldn’t approach a problem with the same method repeatedly when it yields no beneficial result, I should employ different approaches to get closer to my goals.
